Into the Wild

Great Movie, Great Book, Great Story.

I loved this book and I was pleased with the movie.
The movie brought out the brashness of Chris McCandless, and arrogance. Also, his running away from his issues. He used knowledge to justify his adventure. It’s like the Scientific revolution and industrial revolution. and in Hard Times by Charles Dickens. Not everything can be based on facts. Teaching his children to only use the facts, Mr Gradgrind is blind to the necessity for emotions and the role of feelings in the pleasure of human life. Chris was blinded by ambition and his distaste for his parents. but like Allison in Breakfast club everyone’s “home life is un…satisfying…” to some extent. the true test is dealing with it.
